HOW TO USE IT

Start with your details

  1. Enter your puppy's details

Choose your country in the top navigation and enter the birth date. In the UK, say whether weaning has finished. If not, later dates use an illustrative eight-week weaning assumption. Add the actual date once known.

  2. Add flea reminders if needed

Turn them on only after checking the product label and your vet. Enter the label's starting age and repeat interval in weeks.

  3. Create and review

Create the schedule, then review dates with your vet before saving, sharing, printing or adding calendar reminders.

HOW IT WORKS

What shapes your result

ESCCAP UK advises treatment from two weeks, every two weeks until two weeks after weaning, then monthly until six months. For a puppy younger than eight weeks that is still weaning, later dates use an illustrative eight-week weaning assumption, not an individual prediction. Enter the actual finished date later to recalculate. Your vet and the selected product label determine actual treatment.

Week-based dates add seven calendar days per week to the birth date. Monthly and three-month intervals use calendar months, with month-end dates clamped to the last valid day.

Flea dates start at the label age you enter and repeat at your chosen number of weeks. The planner shows dates only through the puppy's six-month anniversary. A reminder does not confirm a product is suitable or that treatment was given.

Earlier dates stay visible for discussion with your vet. This is not a catch-up course or a record of treatments already given.

Each calendar download creates separate events, including repeat downloads of a saved plan. Remove an older import in your calendar app before replacing it.

Bring your questions and this plan to your vet.

How often should I worm a puppy?

ESCCAP UK advises treatment from two weeks, every two weeks until two weeks after weaning, then monthly until six months. For a puppy younger than eight weeks that is still weaning, later dates use an illustrative eight-week weaning assumption, not an individual prediction. Enter the actual finished date later to recalculate. Your vet and the selected product label determine actual treatment.

When do I switch to monthly worming?

ESCCAP UK says to continue fortnightly through two weeks after weaning, then monthly until six months. If weaning is still ongoing, the later switch shown is estimated using an eight-week weaning assumption. Enter the actual finished date to recalculate it with your vet.

What if your puppy has not finished weaning?

Choose Not yet. For a puppy younger than eight weeks, later dates are an illustration that assumes weaning finishes at eight weeks, based on Royal Kennel Club guidance. They are marked Estimated. If the puppy is still weaning at eight weeks or later, that assumption no longer fits and only the supported early dates are shown. Enter the actual finished date when known and confirm the course with your vet.

When can a puppy start flea treatment?

There is no single starting age in this planner. Use the minimum age and repeat interval printed on the product label, and ask your vet whether it suits your puppy.

What if a date has already passed?

The original date remains on the schedule. Ask your vet for a catch-up plan. Do not treat several missed reminders as instructions to give several treatments together.

Do these reminders confirm a treatment was given?

No. They are dates for discussion, not a treatment record. Keep your vet's actual record and check the label before every flea reminder.
